Thrupenny Supper
On Friday 13th September at 7 pm we are holding a family meal in the church hall for all friends and supporters of our congregation.
A simple two course supper, with vegetarian and gluten free choices, it will be an opportunity to say thank you to everyone who helps support the life and work of our church and to ask for their continued support as we move into a new phase of our journey.
We have seen huge changes in the last four years since Covid and lockdown. It is not only in the country but our church life too. A new minister, a new audio-visual system, the removal of old pews, a more relaxed and informal Sunday morning. Great changes have come and more are to follow with the redevelopment of the church interior.
Alongside our supper there will be a short update on the redevelopment plans, a light talk on life in Kirkcudbright church in our great-grand-parents’ days and a surprise or two for everyone in attendance.
There is still time to ask for an invitation which can be delivered to you before the meal – just contact the minister at minister@kbtchurch.org.uk or the office at office@kbtchurch.org.uk or ask any of the Elders. You may also phone and speak to Ann at the office through 01557 330 489. Do let us know if you are vegetarian or require gluten free.
We are keen that all our friends, supporters and attenders have an opportunity to join us for our ‘Thrupenny Supper’.
