Christmas Tree Festival: December 1st – 23rd

This year’s Christmas Tree Festival in the Parish Church features more than 50 trees decorated by groups, businesses and individuals in the community.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers was founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott after her husband Lee “Scotty” Scott was killed in 2009 while on active service in Afghanistan with the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment (Read more at Website | Wikipedia)

Admission is free but any donations will be shared between the Parish Church General Fund and Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity helping forces children with a parent who has died during active service in His Majesty’s Forces.

On Saturday 16th December at 2 pm the LYRIC SINGERS will be singing seasonal songs to help us get into the spirit of Christmas.

So, please come along, enjoy, and maybe join in, the singing, and view the 50+ trees displayed in the church.

The festival began on December 1 and continues every weekend until December 23:

Saturday 9th, 10.30 am – 4.30 pm
Sunday 10th, 12.30 – 4.30 pm

Saturday 16th, 10.30 am – 4.30 pm
Sunday 17th, 12.30 – 4.30 pm

Saturday 23d, 10.30 am – 4.30 pm
