Christmas Craft Fairs

As we approached the end of 2024, the fundraising team were focused on Saturday 23rd November for our Church Christmas Fair, writes Tracy Jones.

We certainly were not prepared for the adverse weather. Nevertheless, by Friday evening we were all set up not quite knowing what the next day ahead would bring.

We were not disappointed, the invited Craft sellers arrived bright and early, and the church was looking fabulous with an abundance of gifts for all tastes.

We had our own sales table, which included our very popular home-made Christmas cakes (all 68 sold!), bottle tombola and raffle.

Refreshments of mince pies and shortbread were kindly donated by the local Keystore, Co-op
and Tesco Superstores and enjoyed by all stallholders, volunteers and visitors.

I would like to say a very big thank you to Stuart Cochrane and The Lyric Singers, who entertained us all during the afternoon.

I am thrilled to tell you all we raised £706.50 for our Redevelopment Project.

On Thursday 19th December we also took a small sales table at the Academy Christmas Fair where we raised an additional £44.50 towards our goal.
